Update: 30/1/2018
Very good news! My friend got their refund back fully, yay! ^^
The artist surprisingly admitted their fraud and tracing.
I'll make this my final update on this matter then, despite them being suspended. They may come back, or not at all. But if they do, be sure to keep an eye out. I do believe in 2nd chances, but I also believe that trust needs to be earned back.
Hopefully they will learn from this entire ordeal.

Since I don't normally do these, I was given permission by the one involved to make this call out post. For further details on the matter, I've provided a link below where they first issued their complaint.

To basically summarize the situation my friend was scammed by the artist Krizeii.
Unfortunately they paid through the another method that's not invoice and I'm not entirely sure about the refund policy applying, but I've been told it was not allowed If there's any other solutions other than nagging this artist please do let me know!
It doesn't take much to also realize this artist not only traces their work to sell it to others, but depicts minors in ways that violates dA's terms of service/rules. The last thing I'd want to do is have a heavy discussion about the latter being acceptable since it's fiction. It doesn't matter, because it still violates dA's rules.

I have since then reported them to dA and many of their works.
I'd like everyone to be aware of this artist and to not commission them at all or even approach them.
Evidence of Tracing provided by dA user Galehawk in the forum comments.

If there's any more evidence of them/etc I'm more than happy to update this journal. And if there's any way to help my friend get their refund please let me know too!!
Please spread the word and stay safe everyone <3
I'm ...back????
Hey! I'm alive!!!!
I am also BEYOND sorry for basically being MIA for the year :( It's been...a wild year with work eating most of my life but basically...
I've quit :P
Yeah, it wasn't working out so I came back here lmao but idk what I'm going to do next. I'm just living for me now, that's all. I don't know if I'll be pulling commissions up again anytime soon, but I feel really bad for not even hanging around here when I could or I know I have other things (like the giveaway...oops) waiting on me but yeah. I want to go back to drawing very badly. Trouble is...I've not drawn since like...Janurary? Whatever my last submission was so I KNOW
deviantArt Eclipse and bug issues with Commissions
EDIT: I realized the forum threads I linked might not be seen by those without core? But basically what I've written is the gist regardless.
EDIT 2: Resolved a small situation I had with currency conversion on comm widgets. Basically staffs' said they were working on something but there's no ETA on when that will finish so, yay :)
Didn't think I'd have to make a journal so soon! :O
But thought I'd give a heads up about this new feature (which in theory I thought was going to be helpful since I like dark themes) but apparently there's already been some major issues?
One of which is for artists that use commission widgets. There's been an a
Commission T.O.S Update - Deactivated Accounts
Hi everyone!!
I thought it was best to state an updated policy here rather than in a status.
First of all, no I'm not deactivating or anything like that!! :XD: and all on-going commissions are fine ^^
Well, to an extent...
Currently I've experienced a situation where one user has gone inactive/deactivated during their commission and I wasn't 100% sure what to do for a second.
But I've decided that I will still stick to my usual 48 hour policy after I've been paid (I will always do the commission when payment has been received). As far as the the WIP/Work In Progress stages go, I will apply the 48 hour policy even IF the user is deactivat
Please help or spread the word if you can!
This lovely person could really use some help!! I've worked for them in the past (actually I did their icon!) and they were a delight <3
Thank you!!!
